My first orchid. It followed me home. Let’s see how long I can keep it alive.
Also, this song came on the radio the other day. It just makes me smile (And the video? Whoa. Let’s just say it was a simpler time…)
Isn't it self explanatory?
Relatives who travel from afar, through storms, just to see you.
Cousins who build snow people and bears.
Dogs who wrestle in the snow and pass out in front of the fire.
Sisters who sing George Harrison songs while trimming Brussels sprouts.
Brothers-in-law who send the world’s best, buttery popcorn.
Sisters-in-law who bake irresistible healthy snacks.
Husbands who cook two turkeys to perfection.
Children who keep us laughing and give us sweet hugs.
Neighbors who bring pie and friendship.
Friends who make homemade ice cream.
Family who play “Apples to Apples” and “Ninja” and laugh at the silliest things.
A day of too much yet just enough and everything just right.
We have so much to be thankful for.
