Oh my oh my. I remember those days. Actually, while other parents were hemming and hawing about whether or not they wanted their children to get their driver’s permits/licenses, etc., all of the SWIM MOMS were lined up outside the license bureau the morning OF to get those permits asap and especially licenses asap…we were no dummies…our kids driving on their own meant no more 4:30 a.m. swim practice driving for us! Yahoo, a day of rejoicing! lol On the other hand, I did miss those early morning and late afternoon conversations to and from the pool twice a day.
