Well, I did it. I took pictures during our ordinary Saturday and have so far filtered them down to this this set of 29. Now I need to choose the one “official” picture to share with the 24 hours of flickr group.
It was an interesting experience. I’m not usually the type of person to carry a camera along all day, and I’m shy about capturing groups of strangers (which would probably make the most interesting pictures), and I have a brand new camera that I’m testing out (so I fiddled with a lot of the features and have no idea what I’m doing), and, to top it all off, I am completely unschooled in photography.
It confirmed for me, though, that the key to getting the best shots is just having the darn camera with you at the time.
