52 Weeks ~ Jump (20/52)

My Heart Leaps Up

My heart leaps up when I behold
A rainbow in the sky:
So was it when my life began;
So is it now I am a man;
So be it when I shall grow old,
Or let me die!
The Child is father of the Man;
And I could wish my days to be
Bound each to each by natural piety.

  1. Love, love, love jump photos…we have tons of jump photos of kids and their friends…some in swimmies, some in everyday wear, some in jammies, some in the nude when they were little, some in tuxedos…a full array of Jump photos! Fun to see yours. Nice poem. They always say that when a woman raises a son she falls in love with her husband all over again because it is impossible to watch the transition from baby, toddler, teen, adult without a deeper understanding and a more compassionate heart toward her husband. This, my friend, I find to be absolutely true. I am sure the same can be said for men who raise daughters falling in love all over again with their mothers. Nice poem.
